About the event
The retreat starts at 8:30am with coffee and snacks and lasts until the mass at 12 noon.
This annual event is a wonderful way to prepare ourselves spiritually for the celebrations of Holy Week.
This year our retreat master is Rev. Edward Beck, CP.
Many of us know Father Beck as one of our Weekend Associates who help out with Sunday Masses.
Ordained a priest in 1985, Father Beck has worked as a media contributor on issues of faith, religion, morality and ethics for over 10 years, contributing for ABC News, CBS News, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, ABC Family Channel, HLN and Current TV. He co-hosted Focus on Faith with Chris Cuomo for ABC News.
Father Beck is the author of three books, all published by Doubleday: God Underneath: Spiritual Memoirs of a Catholic Priest (2002), Unlikely Ways Home: Real-Life Spiritual Detours (2006), and Soul Provider: Spiritual Steps to Limitless Love (2009).
Father Beck leads workshops and retreats nationally and internationally and currently resides in New York City.
