Has challenged all of us to share in Jesus’ work of forgiveness and service.

And as often as we have let go of God, God it would seem, never lets us go.

...injustice and death are never the last words, but justice and new life are.

saints are not simply the ones on the official list we honor today; but are what St Paul so often said they were; God’s faithful people–us.

i. Giving us maybe not everything we want ii. but certainly what we deserve – the very definition of justice.

15. But the problem really isn’t democracy – or for that matter, monarchy! It is faith. 16. And you know who pointed that out? Jesus.

For Jesus isn’t challenging how we give; he is challenging how we live; He is challenging our resignation.
