  • Theology Thursday resumes on January 8 with a book discussion – online for January 8 and 15, and in person for January 22. All three gatherings are 6:30pm. Zoom link for the two online discussions is: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88505312357. The in-person session will be in the parish center (406 East 80th Street.) We’ll be reading and discussing James McBride’s The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store.

  • Prayer and Worship Course – This Archdiocesan Catechist Formation Course is being offered here, taught by Maryann Tyrer, and is open to anyone who wants to learn more about how the Church prays and celebrates the sacraments. The 8-hour long course will be Friday, January 9, 7-9PM, and Saturday, January 10, 8:30AM-4:30PM. Registration is required at https://archny.org/ministries-and-offices/yff/ (you’ll need to create an account if you don’t have one), or email Maryann at mtyrer@stelmo79.org to reserve a space.

Ongoing Announcements​​​​​​

  • Liz's Pantry, our parish food pantry, operates every other Saturday from 10-11 AM. We rely on private financial donations to serve our community -- click here to learn more!

  • Is God calling you to be a catechist? Volunteers are needed to help to pass on the faith to the next generation of children and teens. Join us in helping form adults who are preparing for sacraments and to assist with adult faith sharing. No experience needed – all training and materials are provided.
